Champagne Salon 1996 Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil

The 1996 vintage is remembered for its extraordinary character, so much so that it has been compared to the legendary 1928.

In the Grand Cru of Mesnil-sur-Oger the vines flowered on June 21st, the day of the summer solstice, considered particularly auspicious by Champagne winemakers.

Vinification: 100% Chardonnay

The color is straw yellow with golden highlights, and the perlage is fine and persistent. On the nose, it releases citrus and floral notes, combined with hints of yeast and brioche. On the palate, it reveals freshness, creaminess, and a pronounced minerality.
