The late 1980s and early 1990s marked a period of great transformation for the Barolo Langa: its wines began to gain international recognition, and the region became an increasingly important destination for food and wine tourism. This renewal often coincided with the arrival of new generations in the winery.

For the Attilio Ghisolfi Company, 1988 was a decisive year. Until then, the business had been a mixed economy, based on the production of fruit and wine grapes, with bottling only a marginal part. With Gianmarco's arrival at the company, the production structure changed profoundly.
