Aldo Conterno's ancestors emigrated to Argentina in the 19th century and, after a few years, due to family circumstances, returned to Italy.
It was during that period that Giovanni Conterno returned with his family to Monforte d'Alba, to his father Giuseppe's small winery, collaborating with him in the production of local wines.
